Hi, pardon our dust. It will be back up in a bit.
Hi, pardon our dust. It will be back up in a bit.
The stats page is getting back up to speed, and its already showing that commented links get clicked up to 60% more than uncommented ones. Check it out http://l.pr/viewstats
Publish your own l.pr links with and without comments and see which get clicked more! Let us know what you find!

We fixed the stats page to reflect the correct increase in click through rate. It will probably take another month for it to be accurate but the results might be even better than we originally estimated. Check the stats page regularly to see the daily updates!

Hi all,
We recently became aware that we had a bug in some of our testing which was skewing the results. We’ve temporarily removed the posts regarding the higher click through rate with l.pr until we can get updated/corrected data. Sorry for the inconvience.

Hi, pleased to note we added URIBL support to block spam sites; doing our part to keep the Internet clutter free! You can see our spam policy at http://l.pr/help#strict_spam_policy
Hi,
Quick update, we’ve added the “+” feature to see stats on the links you create. You can now add a plus to the end of your link to get stats. This will be relevant shortly as we have some research we will be publishing and you’ll want to be able to see the stats of your links if you don’t have access to analytics of your site or you are forwarding to a site/location that you don’t have analytics for.

One of the great challenges in the blogosphere is there is so much disinformation, or rather, information which has no way of being confirmed. We’ve tried to take another look at this with l.pr by trying to publish data which is quantified so that you can look at it and say “hey, what they’re saying really works” versus us just making bold claims that are unverifiable.
Although l.pr is fairly new (less than a few months old), we can’t say that the results we’ve seen so far are conclusive, they might change over time. However, we are very excited by what we’re seeing and we’re positive you will be too — we’re also putting up some pages for you to visit to see ‘realtime’ whether our conclusion hold up going forward as usage of l.pr increases.
Most of all, we think we’ve got some real data that will make a impact in the blogosphere because its based on actual testing and results, versus opinions or conjecture.
We’ll publish what we have so far soon. Stay Tuned!
